From the Founder's Desk
A new ray of hope and actions… stepping into the 30th year of dedicated service to humanity...... We live in a time of extra ordinary, positive change – a time that has lifted millions of people out of disease, deformities and provided transformed lives. At Meenakshi Mission Hospital, we have the honour of working with world class physicians, dedicated staff, most courageous charitable partner organizations, individuals and corporates for bringing in life changing activities. The times in which we live demand that we push ourselves harder, that we break with established ways of doing things innovatively.
In order to face the challenges courageously, our service delivery system has been considerably improved and we will continue to do so. We have deepened our focus on achieving our vision by articulating a clear strategic mission, mobilizing resources on a differentiated and dynamic basis, and creating qualitative and quantitative analysis that ensure greater service.
I am happy to see the progress of our hospital under the leadership of Dr. S. Gurushankar, the President & Managing Trustee and Chairman of the Hospital ,who is doing excellently well in facing the present day challenges in the Health Industry and the Hospital is engaging more widely and closely for innovative ways of thinking and doing. Ours is the only one Hospital that has specialized services for children with Cancer in the South Tamil Nadu. The Pediatric Oncology Department is providing modern treatment on par with western standards to all children with cancer regardless of their ability to pay. This year onwards we are starting Bone Marrow Transplant Procedure.
We understand that technological change will continue to have a profound impact on health care sector.
Our Telemedicine technology is providing health services to the people who are living in the remote areas.
We are in the pursuit of doing something that makes us different from everybody else in the Health Care Industry.
